My proxy metric for this was comparing against number of NBA seasons played prior to the injury as you probably saw in the article, but agree that looking at a player’s overall career would be a more precise measurement. Not sure where to get it, but I’d love the data on number of games they’ve played in their youth career. One piece of anecdotal evidence is that there are far fewer international players picking up the injury and we know they usually play far fewer games than players going through AAU.
